Abstract The article deals with the adjustment of flow rate milk and water by a plate heat exchanger, which is used for precooling milk. First, measurements parameters device in stable were carried out. Subsequently, exchanger was measured laboratory. Water at 35 °C instead Different ratios cooling cooled (instead milk) set. From values, changes temperature calculated depending on its constant ratio water. It found that range, there are values change maximal. This dependence applies to all selected ratios: (0.8, 0.9, 1.0, 1.1, 1.2.). results show same amount water, it possible achieve greater 0.7 1.6 °C, or reduction consumption. farm modified allow be changed. optimal set, verification performed. saving 4.8% confirmed.
